Protect Excel Sheet
In case of sharing a file with other users, you may want to protect Excel sheet from being changed. Follow the steps below:
1. Right click on the Sheet1 tab and select “Protect Sheet…”.
2. Enter a password (our password is “protect”).
3. Check the boxes to allow other users to work on your worksheet. If you want others to only view the file, then don’t check any option.
4. Click OK.
5. Re-enter the password and click OK.
If you want to unprotect your sheet, follow the steps below:
1. Right click on “Sheet1” and select “Unprotect sheet…”.
2. Enter the password (protect) and click OK.
